Greetings,

I recently spent a week on a family vacation, touring Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando Florida. Had a great time.

I have to mention one thing.

Anyone who is a fan of Harry Potter will love the theme park at Universal. It is amazing and was created for all ages.
It was the highlight of our trip and by far, the most magical and wonderful experience that far exceeded my expectations.  I am looking forward to going back.*smiles*
No spoilers. *grins*

Our next favorite part of the experience at the Harry Potter theme park was the  “Butterbeer”.  Yummmmmm!
It was the best beverage we had the whole trip.
We could order it frozen or non . We only had it the frozen way each time so I cant really advise on the other.
The drink has no alcohol in it, unlike in the HP stories, but it was a great adaptation of this fictional drink.  Plus, in the Florida heat it was a welcome break.
I need to mention that all the buildings and even the lines leading into the traditional open air coasters ..(part of the lines were indoors)  were air conditioned.

Honeydukes is a candy shop from the stories that is also, brought to life at the park.  This store sold pumpkin juice and other candies fans will recognize. To my delight this also, included chocolate frogs which included the collector card depicting a famous witch or wizard. *smiles*

The amazing architecture and reproduction of the smallest details of the Harry Potters world was amazing.  You truly feel as though you have stepped into another realm.

The rides were amazing and I highly recommend the main theme ride. It is a ride that creates a multidimensional experience. It is not just physical movement but, visual. It really allows one to feel what the characters must feel when flying on their broomsticks.  Even my husband, who is not the biggest HP fan and hates rollercoasters…went on it twice ( he even kept his eyes open ….the second time we rode it..*grins*) . I still cannot get him on the other rides which are more traditional rollercoaster ..but, im working on it.*smiles*

I hope you have enjoyed this peek into my Harry Potter theme park experience and find yourself someday going there as well.
I know this post is a change from my usual topics…to say the least …so thank your for obliging me.*smiles*

There is so much that I did not talk about for fear of spoiling the surprises. If you go please, drop me a line and let me know how you liked it.

Sweet dreams,
Angel
