Part One- Spirits and Portals. My Latest Investigation.

I have not been able to post in a little while due to the month of October being extremely busy for me. I hope this post will make up for my absence.  * Smiles*

I have a two-part experience in helping a coworker out at her home.

 She asked me to come over and help her with her new house. They were having a lot of unexplained noises and such and she was “not willing to move into a home like that”.

Some of the claims are that they heard footsteps up stairs while they were in the basement . The door leading from the outside to the landing on the ground floor..and which, lead to  the basement….. would open on its own.  They would be in the basement and hear  it open and hear footsteps  but , upon checking it would be closed and no one would be there. My Coworker reported feeling as though she was being watched and a heavy presence in the house.  Two of her children in the home are very sensitive to spirit and were being the most effected by the home. They did not want to live there either.. yet the date for them to move in was fast approaching .

I came to the house only a few days before they were meant to move in. The house was in the midst of being cleaned and painted.Which , as most of us know.. tends to become more active when a home is being renovated in some way, Plus, my coworker has now heard of info about the home that is disturbing .And after tearing up carpeting and such they are finding coins all over the house.. in the corners and what seem like intentional placements.  She spoke to the  previous owners who lived there 12 years, but were not the original owners. They gave her  information about the disturbing history of the home but , explained  the coins as” just not sweeping well”.  Which from what my coworker felt ,was not the case. (My theory and my coworkers on this is that the previous owners son.. put them there due to the activity in the house as part of  some sort of blessing /cleansing.)

Back to the story: 

I ended up staying there about an hour and half and at the end felt I had connected with the prevailing energies in the home.  I began to get a sense of where the hot spots were and the history of the place. (I did not allow her to tell me the stories about the past incidents until after I was done with my first assessment of the home.  I prefer to not know  anything before an investigation or  any psychic work . That way, I am able to confirm if what I am picking up on is correct or not.)

I am going to skim over this very quickly since the second visit is the one that I just did last night and it was astounding.

I  connected with an older man and a younger woman. I felt strongly that a murder may have occurred in the basement.

I felt a lot of grief and anger and pretty much what I call the creepy vibe..in the basement. I had a strong sense of a lot of energy in the utility room (Where I suspect the  murder occurred.) and the water heater room, I also , found an area in the space leading to the water heater room that felt very active. 

Now this is a very nice finished basement. Nothing at all creepy. Yet the feelings I was getting  were very unsettling. 

 My coworker was able to confirm this info.  A man lured a woman into his home and murdered her in the basement. ( I will not go into too much detail about what the murder consisted of or the circumstances about why the man may have done what he did.. out of respect for the families involved and for the deceased. )

I also , felt energy up in the master bedroom and in one of the other bedrooms. Also, in the den and the dining room. I found specific areas that felt very active.( This is a one level ranch home with a basement) but, most of the “hot spots” were in the basement. That is where I felt the  negativity was originating from.

So far , so good. Smiles.

Now , comes the real work.

 I then had to help to remove the unwanted energies and/or spirits.  My usual way is to connect with the energies and open a portal to the other side and help the spirits cross over . It  tends to be more like a counseling session for the spirit than a forceful action. I try to bring in compassion and understanding and give them the peace and courage they may need to make the last transition.

 I have found , over the years while using this process , that the person or persons are  just very  connected to the home and may not want to leave since it is all they know or they are afraid to move on. Either, due to their own fears of what lies ahead for them or for just not knowing how to cross over. Once they are counseled  and told that all we be good …they will pass through into the portal and a marked difference in the energy of the home can be felt.

I did exactly that for these spirits.   I opened a portal in the basement and got them to” move into the light.” ( I can never say that without flashes of the movie Poltergeist running through my head. *Smiles*)

 I assisted the victim to let go of her grief and fear and move on. 

The murderer was a bit more difficult. After talking to him I found that  he needed to know that I felt compassion for him as well .  That it was time for him to move on and not be afraid.  That he will not find punishment… only help. This seemed to convince him and he also crossed over,

The house felt so much better at that point. I felt that the negative energy within the home was released and hoped it was the end to the haunting and what my coworker and her family were experiencing.

I did explain to  my coworker, that activity may flare up but, most of the time it does not.  I advised her to let me know if she needs me to come back.

For now..though, I felt it was well cleared of at least the negative stuff. Only time will tell . 

Then a few weeks to a month later. I am contacted by my coworker . The activity has dramatically increased in the home. The good news is that the negative and creepy feelings are no longer there.  Even , though they feel no fear for the new spirits …they want them gone.. just the same.

I hear the stories of a voice from the master bedroom.. while they were in it..  calling  for their one dog, who they cannot coax into their bedroom for anything.  The man’s Mother witnesses a lady in white in the basement ( In the spot where I felt some of the activity was) and she said she was just standing there looking at her. Nothing threatening or scary but, unsettling nonetheless.  Their son saw a shadow dart out of the master  bedroom and the daughter felt a caress on her face one night while trying to sleep.   They would come home to find that the child gate to the den was opened (they use it to keep the dogs out of this room)  and  one time  the back door to the yard was also wide open… after they know it was locked .  Needless to say she was glad the creepy feelings were gone but , was not comfortable with the new developments. 

This phenomenon is not completely unheard of.

 There sometimes, is what I called a “layered effect” in a house .My first visit may have removed the most disturbing layer only. Which, allows any other spirits or energies in the home to move and interact now . I find that the strongest and most disturbing emotions and energies can dampen and suppress any other spirits that may reside in a home.  That they were always there but , were unable to make themselves be heard.  Now, with the negative energies cleansed from the home the house is now able to fully express itself.  The spirits are given the freedom to reach out for help and allow the residents of the home to see , hear or feel them. 

 As a side note. This does not always, happen.

 I was able to cleanse  other homes with no other activity flaring after the clearing.  The increased activity after the inital cleansing of a home seems to be the exception …not the rule.  Please, do not be fearful of doing a cleansing and thinking it will only make it worse..for most of the time it does not. *smiles* Of course, this is not an exact science and sometimes the unexpected can occur.

Back to the story.

So I was asked to come back to the home by a very anxious coworker. I reassured her it would be ok and that I would do my best to help her. I explained the whole…. sometimes this happens… bit again and made a promise to come over and see what I can do to help her.

I am actually needing to stop here. 

I will continue my experiences from last night on the next post.  I need to finish listening to the last recording  I took  at the end of my investigation.  I was there from a little before 8 pm and did not leave till almost midnight.   I have a lot of experiences and great evidence to share with you all.. I just want to make sure I did not get any other EVP’s (Electronic Voice Phenomena- a well used and documented way of hearing spirit.  At the time of the recordings, participants will not hear the sounds or voices but, upon playback .. hear them. Some can be very loud and clear and  usually in response to the questions that were asked or  fit  the situation at the time of the recording.

Amazingly enough ,I wrote this post after I woke up today. This is a first!  For that reason, I cannot wish you sweet dreams but, will instead wish you all a wonderful day.
